I lived to see the day that Bird had to turn down a playdate from kids his own age and good kids because he already had another social obligation after homework!

Yep, this happens to most people everyday and both my other kids 2-3 times a week but not Dill and today was his day.

3 really great boys from the neighborhood all in 5th grade just like him walked over and knocked on the door with a ball in hand!

Parents of typical kids are likely stunned by jubilence.  Bird is smart, very athletic, extremely good looking but because of his autism not socially sought out by peers.

Perhaps today will be one of many days or one of few….I don’t care…today is a good day and I am so happy!

It became one of many days as he now has 8 boys and his sister in the yard playing football each day! In this respect life is grand!
